My friend had a Vagus Nerve implant several months ago. As his doctor turned the device up, so it would go off more often and at a longer time, he began to feel awful. He had severe migraine headaches, nausea, and was so hoarse every time the implant fired that he could not talk. Is this common?

It takes time to get the right settings of the device, you have to consult your physician. It takes close collaboration for monitoring the best cycles. Regards DrShock
